More about Ankle Pain
There are several things that can cause ankle pain, muscular, tendon, joint and ligament to name a few, which can all have an affect on daily activities. The pain can be felt around the outside of the ankle, the back, into the foot and up the calf, which may or may not be down to injury. Ankle pain can also be due to referral from issues in the body which is causing a compensation effect. Some of the most common causes can be a ligament injury, an achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciopathy or osteoarthritis.
